## What Gennai does

1. Connects to Gmail, Outlook (Microsoft 365) or any IMAP inbox over OAuth 2.0 or an app password.
2. Scans the inbox automatically every hour, in attachments and in email bodies, and recovers historical invoices with a retroactive scan over any past date range.
3. Extracts vendor, invoice number, dates, totals, tax, currency and line items with AI, and skips duplicates automatically.
4. Delivers the data to Xero, QuickBooks Online or Holded with the original PDF attached, syncs to Google Drive, OneDrive and Google Sheets, or exports CSV and XLSX.

- CASA Tier 2 verified (App Defense Alliance Cloud Application Security Assessment), independently assessed by an authorized lab. This assessment is required by Google for restricted-scope Gmail access.
- OAuth 2.0 for email connections; Gennai never sees or stores email passwords. All stored tokens are encrypted.
