How do I connect Telegram to Gennai?
Open your Gennai dashboard, go to the Integrations tab and select Telegram, then click Connect. Scan the QR code with your phone or tap the link, and the Gennai bot opens in Telegram already linked to your account. From then on, just send your invoices and receipts to the bot.
Do I need anything besides Telegram?
No. Gennai works with any standard Telegram account on iPhone, Android, Desktop or Web. There is no Gennai app to install and no phone number to enter, you simply scan a QR code or tap a link.
What invoices and receipts can I send?
You can send PDF invoices up to 20 MB and photos of paper receipts or tickets in JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. Gennai's AI reads documents in over 100 languages, so the format and language of the invoice don't matter.
How do I know an invoice was processed?
The bot replies in the chat with the supplier, amount and date it extracted, along with a link to your dashboard. If a document isn't an invoice or is a duplicate, the bot tells you that too, so you always know what happened.
Does sending invoices use my plan credits?
Yes, each processed invoice uses one credit from your plan, exactly like an invoice captured from email. If you send something that isn't an invoice, or a document you've already submitted, Gennai automatically uses no credit.
Can I send invoices from Telegram on my computer?
Yes. Telegram keeps every device in sync, so you can forward invoices to the bot from Telegram Desktop or Telegram Web just as easily as from your phone. They all reach the same Gennai dashboard.
Is my data secure?
Gennai only processes the invoices and receipts you send to the bot. Nothing else in your chats is read. Every document is stored securely, every connection is logged for your audit trail, and you can disconnect at any time.
How do I disconnect Telegram?
You can disconnect from the Integrations tab in your dashboard, or by sending /disconnect to the bot. Either option stops processing immediately, and invoices already in your dashboard are not affected.
